Our file section has been empty for quite a while now and we probably wont get back to the same amount of files we once had. However we can proudly announce that our download section will be back thanks to our new sponsor Linux-Power.de. They kindly provide us with a new filespace, which we will fill in the next days/weeks.
However there is bad news too. We wont and cant use the filespace to host any fragmovies. This is due the restrictive german laws and to prevent penalties. So the space will be used for any gaming related files, like custom maps, huds, models and of course your match demos. So if you have anything you want to share with the community or have an idea what we can upload, let us know.
As for the frag movies, we soon will start to add the movies from the big dayofdefeat.tv archive on YouTube to our old database. The quality isnt certainly the best, but the flash video technology is evolving with HD codecs so we will certainly see an improvement there soon.
